Do I have to use the shop my insurance company suggests?
No. Michigan law gives you the right to take your vehicle to the repair shop of your choice. Tell your insurance company you'd like S & L to do the work.
Do I need an appointment for an estimate?
No. Stop in Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and we'll write up an estimate. You can also meet your insurance adjuster here.
Do you work with my insurance company?
We work with all insurance companies. We submit the estimate, and once the claim is approved we schedule the repair, parts, and a rental or tow if you need one.
What does your warranty cover?
Our lifetime limited warranty covers defects in our workmanship for as long as you own the vehicle (rust repairs excluded). Paint has a 5-year limited warranty, and mechanical repairs are covered for 90 days or 3,000 miles.
Can you fix a chip in my windshield?
Yes. We handle everything from chip repairs to full windshield replacement, with same-day service available. Ask for a free glass quote.
Can you fix a small dent without repainting?
Often, yes. Paintless dent repair fixes many small dents and dings without paint, which saves you money.
